Better with two
I build the systems and keep them running, but I’m looking for someone else on the business side: be the people-person and scale what I do here into other regions that need it.
The picture
Fitting one of my systems to a Praxis or workshop is simple pattern replication, and keeping thirty of them running is something one trained builder can do with proper tooling. What used to take a Systemhaus ten people can now be done with two.
Clients anywhere sign with us. Where a region needs hands on the ground, that’s a pair on contract: a builder I’ve trained, looking after the installations near them, and a networking partner you’ve found, looking after the clients. Basically a Systemhaus with field technicians. That pool of people is what I’d call a modern guild, and perhaps worth an eG form in the future.
Where I am in it
The core: the audit, the codebase, the AI methods, the updates, and training builders. Our own clients in this region, and I’ll travel if I need to see something with my own eyes or immerse myself in a problem. That’s my ceiling, I build and can’t be everywhere.
Where you are in it
The business and legal side. First here: the clients, the onboarding, the early feedback loops. Then outward: which region is next, who its two people are, how it’s sold there. I know the direction and how systems can scale; how to scale people and clients is your part.
How the money works
One invoice per client: a monthly service fee, and model usage as a separate metered line at cost plus a margin, so nobody is paying for someone else’s tokens. Extraordinary or unusual builds could be billed as well. Out of the service fee the regional pair gets a fixed share per installation; the rest funds the two of us and the core. The number of clients it takes to pay everyone is small and knowable.
What’s on offer
A share of the venture, vested over time. How your start is funded depends on who you are: Werkstudent hours, EXIST if a university is still within reach, or the first clients here. That’s the first thing we’d work out together.
Who
Someone with energy and a creative view, who is comfortable talking with a Handwerksmeister and a Praxisinhaberin in the same afternoon, while doing AI tests with me in between appointments.
